What happens with policy renewals?

All renewals are processed automatically for all policies bound on APOLLO’s Broker Exchange (Excluding Builder’s Risk).

Here's everything you need to know about APOLLO's auto-renewal policy:
  1. Brokers or broker admins will be notified 45 days before the renewal, as well as one day before the policy renews.
  2. Annual policies will automatically renew 15 days prior to expiry of current policy term, while monthly policies will renew on the expiry date of current policy term.
  3. This change will affect all personal lines (tenants, condos, and rented condos) as well as all of our business lines (excluding Builder’s Risk).
  4. If a payment is unsuccessful, we will try again three times:
    1. 2 days, 5 days, and 9 days after the renewal date for monthly policies.
    2. 7 days before the policy expires, 1 day before the policy expires, and 9 days after the policy expires for annual policies
  5. The renewal will lapse if all payment attempts are unsuccessful for both monthly and annual policies.
  6. Please note that brokers will have the ability to update or decline the renewal online.
