Why doesn't APOLLO ask the retroactive date for claims-made policies?

This is because the majority of APOLLO products have been negotiated with a floating retroactive date.

A "Floating Retroactive Date" means the retroactive date is defined as the inception date of the first policy purchased by the Named Insured which provided coverage of a similar nature to that afforded by this Policy.
