Monitored burglar alarm is imperative for retail stores to mitigate the risk of theft and burglary. It is a mandatory condition for the following types of retail stores to have a monitored alarm in place in order to be eligible for this Insurance:
- Camera and Photographic Supplies Stores
- Audio and video recordings stores
- Convenience store, Variety store
- Optical stores
- Luggage and leather goods stores
- Musical instrument and supplies stores - including incidental renting and repair
- Home furnishings stores
- Computer stores
In addition to the Monitored Burglar alarm, the above mentioned types of stores should also have one or more of the additional physical security measures in place such as metal bars, dead bolts, shutters, window films etc.
