How do I lapse a renewal offer?

If a renewal is no longer required, you can lapse the renewal offer.  Locate the policy renewal in your CRM by searching by policy holder name or using the renewal policy number. 

Click on the red DETAILS button to access the Renewal Application.

You'll be taken to the RENEWAL APPLICATION RECORD. Select an option from the dropdown named "Select Action".  Click on "Decline Application".

The following window will open. Please choose the appropriate reason. Select "SAVE" once you've completed the required sections.

By taking this action, you have confirmed that a renewal offer is not required and the renewal reminders will no longer be generated.
